Service Accomplishments for 2013-2014

The Casa Grande Daybreak Rotary Club was organized in 2006 for the sole purpose of being of service to community. To this day, providing meaningful service continues to be the overriding foundation and focus of activity among club members.

  • Give Kids a Smile in Casa Grande and San Manuel
  • Neighbors United community clean up – in partnership with many community partners
  • Stanfield Holiday Project – partnership with Casa Grande Rotary
  • Back to School Supply Drive
  • Toy Gift Exchange Donations for Against Abuse and CG First Responders
  • NAU student Dental Sponsorship - Ongoing
  • Boys and Girls Club Scholarships for two youth
  • Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)sponsorships for youth
  • Mission Valley Clean-Up  Project

International

  • Water, computer literacy and access, and home refurbishing in the Dominican Republic
  • Water project in Uganda (WASRAG)
  • School water and sanitation project in Tanzania (WASRAG)

  • Every Rotarian Every Year – Actual: 71% participation
  • Rotary Foundation Areas of Focus Addressed Through Projects: Disease prevention and treatment, Water and Sanitation, Maternal and Child Health, Basic Education and Literacy, and Economic and Community Development

Membership

Leadership Development

  • Encourage full participation in district activities, training opportunities and leadership

Club Administration

  • Hold Club Assemblies once a month
  • Publish club bulletins weekly
  • Update and expand the club website
  • Monthly “themed” potluck suppers and other fellowship and family of Rotary activities
